Opened January 6, 2018, The Ginger Root Restaurant & Bar is a family owned and operated restaurant serving scratch made Tex-Asian Cuisine ®.
Owners Bryan, Darryl and Karren Burns have put their heart and soul into creating a dining experience that highlights fresh food, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere.
The kitchen hand makes all egg rolls, pork and shrimp dumplings, cream cheese wontons, and apple pie wontons daily. The egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and Thai coconut soup are also made in house daily.
Along with classic Asian dishes, The Ginger Root offers Texas style dishes with an Asian twist. A must try are the ribs. They are slow cooked, moist, and tender with a bit of a kick. They come with a side of hand cut togarashi French fries!
And if you like it spicy, you can choose your spice level from 1 to 5 on many dishes. Be warned though, the 5 is a HOT one!
